Stacey Allen provides therapy services to individuals, families, couples, adults, teens, and children who are living with cancer, chronic illness, medical issues, or grief, whether personally or within their close circles. She has served patients and their families around medical issues in many different contexts, including group private practice therapy, as a Certified Child Life Specialist in local pediatric hospitals, 8 years of holding weekly support groups at Gilda’s Club Minnesota for adults living with cancer, community grief support groups, and various speaking engagements.
Stacey has over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families in various settings. In her professional career, she has gained invaluable experience helping patients emotionally navigate the medical community, and address issues of intense stress around procedures, tests, scans, surgery, treatment, and prognosis. She assists in managing anxiety and depression through psychoeducation and draws from a variety of therapeutic theories and techniques, including but not limited to mindful awareness techniques, self-calming strategies, insightful processing, creative outlets, and social and community connections.
Stacey supports her patients during both long- and short-term illness, through post treatment phases, and in the event of a terminal diagnosis, impending death, or the devastating death of someone close. Stacey will join you where are you are emotionally and help you move toward an increased understanding of this situation. She can help re-organize your thinking, re-evaluate roles and responsibilities, explore changes and identity, process guilt, resentments, and fear, and explore meaning. Jenni's professional journey began as a dedicated Registered Nurse caring for premature infants. Her path took a significant turn when her child was diagnosed with a chronic illness, revealing to her the gaps in the healthcare system’s ability to address the far-reaching effects of medical diagnoses. Jenni recognized the need for professionals who could bridge the worlds of medicine and mental health to support patients navigating chronic illness and everyday life.

Michael has been a Licensed Social Worker for more than 25 years and has served and supported individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings. He utilizes his skills and experience in a number of healing and helping roles including as a death midwife, spiritual director, yoga teacher, and Thai bodywork therapist. He brings a holistic perspective incorporating body, mind, heart, and spirit into everything he offers. He has specialized in emotional regulation, trauma, mindfulness, end of life, and early childhood development. Michael’s background has been enriched by supporting behaviorally challenging students in the public school system as well as being present to adults and elders in their final months, days, and hours of life. Moving into a more clinical role later in his career, he brings both a wealth of experience and a fresh and curious perspective.

Outside of the office, Kasey is an interdisciplinary artist, producer, and director whose roots in the rural midwest inform her work across a breadth of traditional and modern crafts. Her practice with fiber, wood, leather, willow and bark examine the intersection of utility and beauty. She seeks experiences that explore how a culture’s interaction with handmade objects co-evolve, and welcomes opportunities to examine what is fine art?
